Josephson Dunlap LLP

Katie Wayne

Attorney

Katie Wayne is an associate attorney at Josephson Dunlap who brings a decade of appellate court experience to the firm's wage-and-hour litigation practice. Prior to joining the firm, Katie served for ten years as the career clerk for the Honorable Francie C. Riedmann on the Nebraska Court of Appeals, where she drafted appellate opinions addressing criminal, civil, juvenile, and workers' compensation law issues.

Before her appellate clerkship, Katie spent two years clerking for the district court judges of the Fourth Judicial District Court of Nebraska, drafting trial court orders on a wide range of criminal and civil law matters. Across both roles, Katie developed a deep understanding of how courts evaluate evidence, apply legal standards, and reach decisions, a perspective she now applies to building strong, well-supported wage and employment claims on behalf of workers.

Katie's background in legal research and judicial writing gives her a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to case analysis. She is committed to helping workers understand their rights and pursue the compensation they are owed under wage and hour law.
