Overview
Kevin Collins is a dedicated employment attorney who has represented both employees and employers in a broad array of complex wage-and-hour and workplace disputes. His experience on both sides of employment litigation gives him valuable insight into employer decision-making, defense strategy, and case valuation, which he now uses to aggressively advocate for workers and hold employers accountable.
Kevin is passionate about helping workers navigate complicated employment disputes and understands the financial stress that wage violations place on employees and their families. Based in California, he has consistently fought for workers and secured recoveries in matters involving unpaid and untimely wages, overtime and regular-rate disputes, employee misclassification, unlawful deductions, meal and rest break violations, unlawful employer-to-employee cost shifting, and other wage-and-hour concerns in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and representative actions.
Before transitioning into legal practice, Kevin built a successful thirteen-year career in corporate accounting and finance, where he was responsible for highly detail-oriented financial analysis, compensation modeling, compliance review, investigative accounting work, and large-scale financial operations involving multi-million-dollar transactions. This background gives him a uniquely analytical approach to wage-and-hour litigation and strengthens his ability to identify compensation irregularities, evaluate damages, and develop effective litigation and settlement strategies for employees.
Outside of his legal practice, Kevin remains active in the legal community through leadership and mentorship initiatives with the Riverside County Bar Association's Barristers Board, where he has served as Treasurer for four terms.
