Overview
Payne Horning is an experienced employment lawyer based in New York City with more than five years of litigation experience in a wide range of workplace disputes. Before joining Josephson Dunlap, Mr. Horning worked as an associate for established law firms in New York State and New York City, where he represented clients in cases involving claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and numerous state and local labor and employment laws.
Mr. Horning's prior work representing employers gives him key insight into how businesses respond to litigation, evaluate potential risk, and approach settlement negotiations. He leverages this defense-side experience to offer his clients strategic guidance and advocate zealously on their behalf to ensure they receive fair and full compensation under the law.
