A Trusted Advocate for Workers’ Rights
OVERVIEW
Edmund Celiesius has dedicated his career to representing employees nationwide. With over six years of litigation experience and expertise navigating federal and state wage and hour laws, he is an invaluable resource to his clients. Mr. Celiesius has led or been involved in countless high-profile class and collective action lawsuits and has helped return millions in unpaid wages to his clients.
Prior to joining JD, Mr. Celiesius worked as an associate for an employment law firm in Philadelphia, where he continued to develop his litigation acumen in representing employees. In addition to wage-and-hour matters, Mr. Celiesius has litigated cases under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Having spent a brief period representing employers, Mr. Celiesius brings valuable insight into employer-side litigation strategy – enabling him to anticipate opposing arguments, assess risk effectively, and develop proactive results-oriented plaintiff strategies for employees.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Celiesius enjoys spending time with family, traveling to new destinations, and playing golf.
